History of AAZV


The historian has the responsibility to:
1. Archive information of a historical significance to AAZV including sites of the annual meetings, officers of the association, committee activities for the year, significant changes to the constitution, bylaws and/or administration of AAZV, minutes of the executive committee meetings, a rooster of members of AAZV each year and highlights of the annual meeting.
2. Maintain an historical narrative to reflect the happenings of AAZV each year
3. Record the deaths of members of AAZV
4. Periodically write an article to illustrate the contributions that a zoo veterinarian has made to AAZV or the zoo world.
5. Maintain a list of awards presented to AAZV members including the criteria for the award and the presentation narrative if available.
