The Annual Conference of the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians will be in Tulsa, Oklahoma USA October 24 through 30, 2009.  This is the AAZV's 41st Annual Conference.  The Conference will be held concurrently with the Nutritional Advisory Group of the AZA. 

*Cutting Edge Speaker, David Blehert, will open the Conference Monday at 8:00 AM with: "White-nose syndrome: Holy fungus batman!".  It is estimated that more than one million bats have died over the past three years.  This disease represents an unprecedented threat to bats of the eastern United States and beyond.  Sponsored by AAWV.
